I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. My current research focuses on the design and optimization of impact-resistant topological mechanical metamaterials to develop next-generation multiuse armors for industrial packaging, sports helmet, and body armor. My research interests are solid mechanics, mechanics of materials, impact sciences, biomaterials, metamaterials, experimental mechanics, and computational mechanics.
